Laureat pierwszej nagrody na prestiżowym Międzynarodowym Konkursie Pianistycznym Long-Thibaud w Paryżu (2022), m.in. za błyskotliwą interpretację II Koncertu fortepianowego S. Prokofiewa. Urodził się 4 stycznia 2000 roku w Seulu. Pianista, którego repertuar obejmuje ponad 40 koncertów fortepianowych i niezliczoną ilość programów solowych, w świat muzyki został wprowadzony już w wieku 3 lat, ucząc się równocześnie gry na fortepianie i na skrzypcach. Kształcił się 4 lata w Konserwatorium Moskiewskim w klasie fortepianu prof. Władimira Owczynnikowa, z którym szeroko współpracował w różnych kierunkach klasycznego repertuaru fortepianowego, aby móc rozwijać się jako muzyk. W czerwcu 2022 roku, w związku z wojną na Ukrainie, przeniósł się na studia do l’École Normale de Musique w Paryżu, które ukończył w 2023 roku pod kierunkiem prof. Mariana Rybickiego. Od 2013 roku współpracuje z prof. Stefanem Arnoldem z Uniwersytetu Muzyki i Sztuk Scenicznych w Wiedniu, aby poszerzać swój repertuar w zakresie niemieckiej i wiedeńskiej muzyki klasycznej. Jako najmłodszy uczestnik w historii, wygrał X Konkurs im. Ignacego Jana Paderewskiego w Bydgoszczy (2016). Jest również laureatem I miejsca i nagrody za najlepsze wykonanie koncertu podczas Moskiewskiego Konkursu Chopinowskiego dla Młodzieży (2012) oraz III nagrody X Konkursu w Hamamatsu (2018), a także finalistą 18. Międzynarodowego Konkursu Pianistycznego im. Fryderyka Chopina w Warszawie (2021). Występował na wielu prestiżowych estradach, m.in. w sali koncertowej im. Dvořáka i Smetany w Pradze, sali Czajkowskiego Konserwatorium Moskiewskiego, Filharmonii Narodowej, Filharmonii Łódzkiej, Filharmonii Śląskiej, Filharmonii Bałtyckiej, Salle Cortot w Paryżu, Muziekgebouw w Eindhoven, Tivoli Vredenburg w Utrechcie, Kioi Hall w Tokio, z Sinfoniettą Cracovią pod dyrekcją Anny Duczmal-Mróz w Filharmonii Krakowskiej, z Radomską Orkiestrą Kameralną oraz na Festiwalu Chopinowskim w Dusznikach-Zdroju i Festiwalu „Perła Baroku”. Pianista regularnie koncertuje w Korei Południowej i Japonii. W 2024 roku zadebiutuje w Sali UNESCO w Paryżu oraz w Teatro Colón w Buenos Aires. W wolnych chwilach gra na skrzypcach i uczestniczy w turniejach szachowych.
Winner of the first prize at the prestigious Long-Thibaud International Piano Competition in Paris (2022), among others for his brilliant interpretation of S. Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 2. Born on January 4, 2000 in Seoul. The pianist, whose repertoire includes over 40 piano concertos and countless solo programs, was introduced to the world of music at the age of 3, learning to play the piano and violin at the same time. He studied for 4 years at the Moscow Conservatory in the piano class of Prof. Vladimir Ovchinnikov, with whom he collaborated extensively in various directions of the classical piano repertoire in order to develop as a musician. In June 2022, due to the war in the Ukraine, he moved to study at l’École Normale de Musique in Paris, from which he graduated in 2023 under the supervision of Prof. Marian Rybicki. Since 2013, he has been cooperating with Prof. Stefan Arnold from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna to expand his repertoire in the field of German and Viennese classical music. As the youngest participant in history, he won the 10th Ignacy Jan Paderewski Competition in Bydgoszcz (2016). He is also the winner of 1st place and the prize for the best performance of a concerto at the Moscow Chopin Competition for Youth (2012) and 3rd prize at the 10th Competition in Hamamatsu (2018), as well as a finalist of the 18th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw (2021). He has performed on many prestigious stages, including at the Dvořák and Smetana Hall in Prague, the Tchaikovsky Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the National Philharmonic, the Łódź Philharmonic, the Silesian Philharmonic, the Baltic Philharmonic, the Salle Cortot in Paris, the Muziekgebouw in Eindhoven, the Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht, the Kioi Hall in Tokyo, with the Sinfonietta Cracovia conducted by Anna Duczmal-Mróz at the Kraków Philharmonic, with the Radom Chamber Orchestra and at the Chopin Festival in Duszniki-Zdrój and the „Pearl of the Baroque” Festival. The pianist regularly gives concerts in South Korea and Japan. In 2024, he will debut at the UNESCO Hall in Paris and at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. In his free time, he plays the violin and participates in chess tournaments.
